Tintura Salon is a full service hair salon located in Upland, CA. Doris V. Rodriguez wanted a web site to launch in conjunction with the grand opening of her new salon in September 2009.
The ColdStone Theme from Elegant Themes was ideal for this project. Many times, a static web site is uploaded and neglected. The decision to utilize a theme enabled more focus on the artwork and content of the site. It is important to take advantage of talented programmers who create these well coded themes. This frees up valuable time and allows projects to reach fruition in a fraction of the time. A content management system (CMS) is a must and with Word Press, businesses are able to keep visitors updated with news, events, and promotions.

Role: Once the direction had been determined and the artwork was completed, I was to assemble the site.
- Integrated artwork into WordPress theme.
- Customized style sheet to reflect company’s branding.
- Placement of photography throughout the site, including the featured articles scroller display.
- WordPress installation, and site launch.
